Fall Meeting & Winners' Dinner
At Richmond Yacht Club
Saturday, November 8, 2025



Come help celebrate the Islander 36 and the Association's 51st year of sailing, racing, and cruising all around San Francisco Bay, and beyond.

Commodore Egan and your Board of Directors are looking forward to seeing you in person at Richmond Yacht Club during Attitude Adjustment Hour, awarding our 2025 trophies, and most importantly, electing your 2026 Board of Directors. It is hard to believe that we have been doing this for over 50 years.

We will gather for libations and friendship, then hold our Awards and Business Meeting at RYC in their Regatta Room. Then, since RYC is no longer offering food on Saturday evenings, we will adjourn to the BiancoVerde restaurant at the Hotel Mac where we will have our own private room for dinner. To simplify things and expedite serving our whole group, we will have a fixed price dinner. People can order from the bar so they pay for their own drinks. Below is the menu.

- STARTER Mixed greens salad for everyone

- SEAFOOD Fettuccine pasta with shrimp or penne alla vodka w/ salmon
- MEAT Beef lasagna or tortellini (pork filled pasta)
- VEGETARIAN Eggplant Lasagna or Mushroom Risotto

-DESSERT Tiramisu

The menu above will get us to $55pp including tax & gratuity

John Melton, despite some health issues, will present the Higdon award to Rob Blenderman who participated widely in both our races and cruisers. John won this trophy more times than anyone in recent memory so I am very excited to have he and his wife at the meeting.

Those who drive in are asked to give those who sailed in a ride to the hotel. Map to Hotel Mac.

1530 - 1600 Attitude Adjustment    
1600 - 1700 Awards & Business Meeting    (approx.)
1700 - 1730 Transfer to Hotel Mac
1730 - 1900 Dinner              

For those that would like to sail in for the meeting, you will need to email a copy of your current registration, proof of insurance and your mobile number to Curtis Lew, Club Manager at Richmond YC. The email for Curtis is manager@richmondyc.org.

Let's see how many boats and people we can round up to celebrate! (Include your crew!) So, fill in the reservation form below to let us know that you will be attending and the number of reservations. Please respond by November 1st so that we can confirm with Richmond YC.
