Coyote Point Yacht Club Cruise-in.
This cruise was hosted by Skipper and Nancy Wall of Snowflower.Saturday was cocktail hour on Noncents which simply became dinner. Washed down with much assorted vino, the crowd retired with the sun and slept through until Sunday morining.
Sunday moring Port Captain Buz Ashbaugh provided hot coffee, fresh bagels and cream cheese & donuts! plus several Sunday papers! The day was spent in walks to the museum and along the point. Assorted boat projects - Skipper varnished the stern rail; Rick & Sandy waxed the cockpit and hatch cover.
Cocktails at the CPYC bar on Sunday, looking out at a howling Bay and a small boat that finally made it safely into the harbor. Barbeque complete with ribs and corn on the cob. Lots of good chocolate goodies for desert - at least three. Then a little songfest for while before turning in.
It howled in the rigging Sunday night, and a forecast for gale warnings by Monday afternoon got everyone up on Monday morning. Buz again provided fresh coffee. We turned in our keys, thanks Buz again for the wonderful hospitality of Coyote Point YC, and set off homeward up the Bay by 9 am. Fortunately, the weather actually moderated and we had a great sail home.
Enjoy the pictures below - we sure had a good time!
Thanks to Bill Higdon of Blockbuster for the photos.
