Adding Keel Bolts |
September 15, 2006
Greetings,
I went with a different solution on my 1972 Islander36. After checking
few boatyards (Swendsen and SF boat works) they wanted over $10,000 to
take the keel off, re-sit it and so on. What I did was to hire a guy who
claimed to be a specialist and I had him add 15 new keel bolts. I just
sent him an E-Mail to confirm he still does this kind of work. Let me
know if you are interested I can give you more details and information.
