Mischief Refit 2011 |
We had a lot of things done over the last few months, including:
Replacing all the ports and windows.
Replaced the forward hatch and changed the locking handles to Lewmar.
Replaced all the internal lights with LED lights
Replaced the cushions
Replaced the headliner
Due to the amount of damage from water penetration, planed off most of the interior veneer and replaced
Also to fix the leaks, pulled all the deck hardware off, filled the holes with epoxy and re-drilled and re-bedded the hardware (replacing where necessary)
Backed all deck hardware with G10 backing.
Painted the non-skip a light grey
New canvas on the dodger, boom and binnacle.
Re-chromed or powder coated the winches and other deck fittings where not replaced.
Changed the stern decal
Painted the wide stripe black and the narrow stripe gold (both had been red)
This is all on top of re-doing the standing rigging and lifelines last year. So the only thing left to do is some minor varnishing and re-instrumenting. Most of which will have to wait until the kitty refills.
